This Wiki was created to be a consolidated source of information on the game found at TDZK.com. It was orginally created to store all of the various stories, images, and lore surrounding the game, but can also be used for other information, such as hints, explanations, or strategies. It is all up to you!
All information found here falls into one of two categories:
- Canon
- This information comes straight from the mouths of the administrators and creators of the game, though primarily Aelanna/Hotaru. Canon is the common ground shared throughout the universe, which all stories should (do their best to) conform to in the interest of continuity. Understandably, not everyone knows every last bit of canon. This is basically the nuts-and-bolts of the game and universe, and is immutable. All information notated as canonical within this Wiki probably is. However, while this is a Wiki, and while every page is editable by everyone, pages marked as canonical should probably not be edited unless new or additional information presents itself. Any extrapolations you desire to make on canonical information should be done in a lore-categorized page, and then linked back to the canonical page.
- Lore
- This basically boils down to stories, explanations, expositions, clarifications, and other such background information that could be from the administrators, or it could be from average players like you and I. It is not specifically relevant to the game, per se, but rounds out the roleplaying universe. However, should the information be approved by the administrators or delegated authorities, it stands a chance of being upgraded to canon. In short, write it well, and see what happens. Lore, in turn, falls into one of two categories:
- Single author: Basically, one person did all of the writing, compilation, and all that good stuff, and would like to leave it that way. If this is the case, the author should make that clear within the heading of the page, and everyone else should respect his or her wishes.
- Open work: Anyone can tweak, edit, adjust, or change the information contained within these pages. This Wiki automatically stores old versions of pages, so "rolling back" to a previous edition is just a matter of pressing a button.
